Mr. P.I.A.S.PERERA serves as the Deputy General Manager of the Samanala Complex, overseeing purchases, tenders, payments, CEV vehicle maintenance, civil affairs, and employee medical aid. The complex has around 380 employees, with T.D.K. as Chief Engineer (Electrical), Mr. Dharmapriya as Chief Engineer (Mechanical), T.N. Mr. Walpita as Civil Engineer, and J.J. Mr. Abeysekera performing additional duties. Permission to visit the power plants under the complex must be obtained through the DGM’s office.

The Human Resource Unit of the Samanala Complex manages the personal, medical aid, and home files of approximately 380 employees. It handles key tasks such as salary increases, promotions, transfers, grievance resolution, medical allowance payments, and housing loan interest reimbursements, ensuring efficient HR management across all plants and offices under the Deputy General Manager’s jurisdiction.

The Accounts Unit at Samanala Complex manages the salary files of nearly 380 officers and employees across all plants and the Deputy General Manager’s office. They handle salary payments, disaster and vehicle loan payments, salary advances, and monthly and annual account reports, including issuing checks. This unit processes and pays not only the salaries of permanent employees but also those of apprentices, ensuring smooth financial operations for the organization.
